Jamie has practical skills in business strategy and development, and a deep interest in environmental and social sustainability in Africa. She looks to use her expertise to help mission-based companies and projects working on economic and social development in South Africa. She believes that there’s a lot of progress to be made in finding better growth strategies for businesses operating on the continent – ways that will benefit the people and create sustained economic growth.
She is an experienced analyst and business development manager with wide-ranging success developing implementing strategies for growth in fast-paced South African environments. In 2017, she was a mentor at the South African Youth Education for Sustainability (SAYes). She has won the A.T. Kearney Procurement Analytical Solutions Cross-Regional Team Award, and was the best Final Year Student in Environmental Sciences & Ecology, as well as the best Final Year Student in Zoology.
Jamie holds a BSc Honours in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a post-graduate diploma in Management from the University of the Witwatersrand Business School. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Strategy and Management at the LSE.
