Kylie takes a keen interest in investor – state law, and is passionate about spearheading and shaping the investment policies and regulations on the African continent mainly through international arbitration. In her spare time, Kylie fights period poverty in rural Kenya by providing mentorship and reusable sanitary towels to young women. She also runs an educational YouTube channel (Kylie Achie) which seeks to inspire young people to reach their greatest potential.
She has given two TEDx talks, namely on her identity as a Black African woman from Kenya, and on sexual violence and rape culture in Kenya. She also sits on the committee of the LSESU International Arbitration society.
Kylie is a recipient of the Chevening Awards scholarship 2019-2020. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honors) from the University of Kent, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Corporate/ Commercial Law at the LSE.
